PiLiPiLi models are produced in Belgium and designed by
Le-van Quang. They are cast in polyurethane resin to a very high standard
and fit together effortlessly, revealing great care taken during mould
production and casting.
The figure can be posed in two ways, straight from the box
and without modification; carrying his rifle over his shoulder with his
hat in his left hand, or rifle resting butt down on the ground and his
hat on his head. This is good kit designing. There are some small sprues
left over from the casting sequence to remove from parts. Two areas to
look out for are the plug on the hat brim and the flash in the rifle's
trigger guard.
Detail on the castings is superb and, add to this the already
mentioned ease of assembly, you'll soon realise you have a superior grade
model figure in your hands. There is some very fine bead work to paint
which will make or mar the finished result, so care is needed.
